Freshman fillies were on display at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Monday, Nov. 6 at Woodbine Mohawk Park in the finals for the Harvest Series. Tamara Hanover won the $47,200 split for the pacers, while P L Rainbow Dash took home the gold in the trotting split worth $45,100. 

Travis Cullen took Tamara Hanover to the gate in post six for Melissa Lamoureux as they showed 8-1 odds on the board.

Ann (Bob McClure) and Tamara Hanover battled to the top en route to the first panel. As the timer read :27, Tamara Hanover achieved pylon position, but Ann dictated the tempo from the outside. Ann settled into the lead along the rail, while Tamara Hanover followed in tow to the :55.3 half. One More Bet (Sylvain Filion) pulled first over and garnered the lead on the outside at the three-quarters in 1:23.3. Tamara Hanover followed her cover and the pair met on even terms in the final turn. Tamara Hanover achieved the lead and never looked back as she set sail to a 2-3/4 length upset in 1:52.3 over the favoured One More Bet. Quiet Assurances (Bruce Richardson) rallied from seventh to take the show spot.

Owned by 1187422 Ontario Inc, the daughter of Artspeak – Transfer Hanover earned her fifth victory in eight starts. She returned $17.70 to win.

P L Rainbow Dash completed her sweep of the series after winning the final with Bob McClure holding the lines for Katie Huskinson. 

McClure and P L Rainbow Dash made a diagonal beeline to the top from post eight and set the tempo with the first two panels in :28.3 and :59.1. Radical Legacy (Doug McNair) pulled first over on the way to the three-quarters in 1:27.2 as P L Rainbow Dash braced for the stretch battle. The Huskinson student prevailed at the wire by a half length in 1:56.2 over Radical Legacy. Muscone (Anthony Haughan) rounded out the top three.

Breeder Prince Lee Acres owns the Resolve – P L Indyanaca daughter for her third win in eight starts. She paid $2.70 to win
