Standardrama, June 23, 2013 At The Orono Fairgrounds

Standardrama has released the details surrounding its annual horse show.

It is the first of four shows in the Ontario Standardbred Show Series.

The show will be held at Orono Fairgrounds on Sunday, June 23 and will begin at 8:00 a.m. and run until 3:00 p.m.

Organizers have announced that they are very excited to have added some new vendors to the show this year.

The horses and riders will be participating classes such as dressage, showmanship, jumping, western, games and the fan favourite costume class.

Organizers explain that when the Slots-at-Racetracks program was cancelled, everyone worried about what would happen in regard to the horses. Many people went into action, advertising, re-homing, networking, training and riding their horses.

Organizers stress that horse racing is nothing without the horses, and are asking to please help show respect to the hard workers that ride the horses in there new careers.

Help promote the breed by showing up and cheering them on.
