Everybody loves the spirited competition of a Silent Auction and there’ll be something for everyone during the fundraising activities at the SBOA Awards Banquet this Saturday night, January 19, in Toronto.
Over 60 items have now been contributed by generous donors in support of the historic organization’s various initiatives to represent breeders’ interests and promote harness racing.
The Silent Auction lineup includes: one week’s accommodation at a luxury cottage in Port Stanton, ON, Leafs tickets, Raptors tickets, tickets and accommodation for the O’Brien Awards, feed, trucking certificates, dinner for 4 and Yuk Yuks at the Top of The Fair, and a host of other valuable industry-related services and items.
The separate Stallion Auction, always the primary annual fundraiser for SBOA, will now offer attendees a total of 17 breedings. Kentuckiana Farms has donated the Ontario-based stallions Manofmanymissions and Muscle Mass to be added to the previously-released list.
SBOA Administrator Aimee Adams advises that there are still tickets available for what promises to be a memorable evening of socializing with fellow breeders, horse people and industry personnel. The Awards ceremonies will be hosted by Greg Blanchard.

A reminder that the SBOA Annual General Meeting will start promptly at 5:00pm. Cocktails follow at 5:30 and the gourmet meal begins at 6:30pm.
