Shanghai Phil To Remain At Kendal Hills Stud for 2014

Hudson Standardbred Stable and Kendal Hills Stud are proud to announce that Shanghai Phil is returning to stand the 2014 season in Ontario.

“The Ontario program is still very strong in many regards and we will continue to support it strongly,” said Hudson Standardbred’s Tony Infilise.

Shanghai Phil’s first crop of OSS-eligible three-year-olds demonstrated outstanding earnings per starter and per start in the program in 2013, led by Three-Year-Old Colt Super Final Champion Duc DOrleans p,3,1:49.2s ($285,055), and Gold and multiple OSS winner Racey Miss p,3,1:51.3s ($190,698). In the Aged category, China Grill p,1:51h ($200,643) is the recent double winner of the Open at Yonkers.

Overall Shanghai Phil has sired horses with earnings of over $3.6-million.

Shanghai Phil‘s service fee will remain at just $2,000 for the 2014 season.
