SBOA Teams Up with Georgian Downs for Gold Rush

The SBOA once again teamed up with Georgian Downs for the successful “Gold Rush” event.  Last year, the SBOA offered yearling credits worth $22,500 to three owners of Gold or Masters Final participants.  This year, breeders of the each winner of the Ontario Sires Stakes or Masters Final were awarded a cash bonus of $3,000.  This years breeders of O.S.S. winners included: Chris Christiforou of Campbellville, Ont (Cross of Lorraine); Kentuckiana Farms of Georgetown, Kentucky (Tiz to Dream); Janice Rubin of Bedford, New York, Steven Katz of Lexington, Kentucky and David Meirs of Cream Ridge, New Jersey (Dontgetinhisway); Stephen Scarff of Halifax, Nova Scotia and Leonard Birch of Hamilton, Ontario (Broadies Song).

Breeders of Masters Final winners that received the cash bonus include:

William Burleigh of Simcoe, Ontario (Misterizi); Gordon Irwin of Cobourg, Ontario and Murray Ross of Norwood, Ontario (Bigtime Ball); Valley High Stable of Freehold, New Jersey (Elusive Desire); and John and Mary Lamers of Ingersoll, Ontario (Dreamfair Eternal).  Congratulations to all of the winners!
