Ontario-Sired,Theresademoninme, Wins Dover’s $20,000 Open Handicap Trot In New Lifetime Mark

 

Theresademoninme took a new lifetime mark of 1:52.4 in the $20,000 Open Handicap Trot and lifted trainer Dylan Davis’ win count to three for the day on Wednesday, Nov. 30 at Dover Downs.

Jonathan Roberts guided the Kadabra-Tortoni five-year-old gelding to his 10th win of the campaign and his second straight in Dover’s Open for Davis and co-owner Mike Casalino. Theresademoninme pulled away from race favourite Glenferrie Dreamer (Pat Berry) in the stretch to score by four and a half lengths over the ‘good’ track. He has earned $122,861 this year and $250,493 lifetime. Tag Up And Go (Corey Callahan) overtook Il Mago (Tim Tetrick) to finish third.

The week’s top pacers meet on the Thursday card, led by the $30,000 Preferred and $27,500 Delaware Special. Monday through Thursday, post time is 4:30 p.m.
