Ontario-Sired, Jagersro, Wins Seven-In-A-Row

Four-year-old trotting mare Jagersro extended her win streak to seven with another front-stepping score at The Raceway at Western Fair District on Good Friday (April 14).

With Scott Coulter in the sulky for trainer/owner Dennis Morrissey, Jagersro ($3.60) quickly crossed to command from the outside post seven and led the rest of the way to tie her lifetime mark of 1:59.2 in Friday’s $8,400 seventh race conditioned trot.

The Johnny William-Mona Simoni mare is undefeated at The Raceway for Morrissey, with her only other victory recorded earlier this year at Flamboro Downs. She has now won $63,640 in 43 career starts.

P C Cantore and Curtis Clements followed two lengths behind the winner in second while Bluebird D Train completed the top three finish order for Anthony MacDonald.
