Mare forms are now available for the 2014 Ontario Resident Mare Program.
To qualify as an Ontario Resident Mare, a mare must be resident in the province of Ontario at the time of enrolment and remain resident in the province for 180 consecutive days surrounding the day of foaling. The day the Standardbred Mare Enrolment Form is received at Standardbred Canada is considered to be “Day One” of the required residency period.
Standardbred Canada provides administrative services for the ORMP on behalf of the program. The program recently sent forms to owners with mares enrolled last year, and the phone number on the letter was incorrect. For more information, please call:
