Late Standardbred owner Harold Shipp, hall of fame Thoroughbred jockey Sandy Hawley, and hockey icons Don Cherry and Johnny Bower, among others, will be enshrined onto Mississauga’s ‘Legends Row’ in January.
News of the honour comes courtesy of a report by the Mississauga News.
The report states that Legends Row recognizes noteworthy residents that have made contributions to the betterment of the city, country, and, in some cases, the world.
The ceremony will take place Saturday, January 17 at the great hall at the civic centre.
