King Of The North Book Full And Closed For 2024

The King Of The North Syndicate and Tara Hills Stud announced on Thursday that the 2024 book for world champion King Of The North is now full and closed. King Of The North is the richest son of siring sensation Walner.

King Of The North was voted U.S. Two-Year-Old Trotting Colt of the Year in 2021 after winning six of 10 starts, including the William Wellwood Memorial Stakes, Peter Haughton Memorial Stakes and the New Jersey Sire Stakes final. At age three, he captured the Breeders Crown in a stakes, track and Canadian record of 1:50.3. King Of The North is Walner’s co-fastest son.

King Of The North is out of Check Me Out 3, 1:51.2 ($1,906,468), whose granddam is No Nonsense Woman. 

“We are very pleased by the reception to King Of The North here in Ontario again this year and are looking forward to the arrival of his first foals in 2024,” said Tara Hills’s David Heffering.
