Three days after Daylon Magician was victorious over the Preferred trotters at Woodbine Racetrack, his younger sister turned the trick south of the border — and also did it faster.

After more than holding her own against the track’s top male trotters, Daylon Miracle relished her return to the distaff ranks, easily capturing Tuesday’s $18,000 Filly & Mare Winners Over $10,000 Life/Preferred Handicap Trot at The Meadows.

Daylon Miracle faced all comers in her four most recent outings, collecting two wins and a pair of show finishes. In Tuesday’s event, however, she was dominant, quarter-poling to the front for Aaron Merriman and scoring in 1:54.1. Early leader Whata Donato was second, 2-3/4 lengths back, with Unefoisdansmavie a rallying third.

Bill Bercury owns and trains Daylon Miracle, a six-year-old daughter of Pegasus Spur-Daylon Marvel who boosted her career bankroll to $438,819.

Eric Goodell, who recently collected career victory 5,000, drove six winners on the 14-race card, including a pair for trainer Paul Kennedy.
