The Standardbred Breeders of Ontario Association’s annual
banquet took place on Saturday, January 23 at the Holiday Inn
Guelph Hotel and Conference Centre. The AGM was held at
5:00 p.m., followed by cocktails at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 6:30
p.m. The Holiday Inn Guelph Hotel and Conference
Centre once again offered a well-appointed central location for
this year’s event.
The annual banquet showcased the accomplishments of the
breeders of the outstanding Ontario Sires Stakes performers of
- The evening also recognized the achievements and
contributions of some of the industry’s most dedicated
individuals, including the recipients of the Lloyd Chisholm
Achievement Award, Chris Van Bussel Memorial Award, as
well as the Johnston Cup and Lampman Cup.
The accomplishments of Ontario’s outstanding pacing and
trotting broodmares were also recognized with the
Masterfeeds Award.
